October 2021
After 10 years working in residential lettings, our Founder, Martyn, needed a change. After struggling to get a painter to answer their phone, let alone turn up for a quote and then be able to do it sooner than 3 months later, Lincoln Painting and Decorating was born.
Martyn wasn't a trained painter and decorator, but what he lacked in formal qualifications, he made up in his attention to detail, exemplary customer service and professionalism.
Within 3 months the brand was gaining traction, 5* reviews and it was time to bring some qualified painters and decorators on board...
October 2022
Fast forward a year, and LPAD had a team of six; four qualified painters and decorators, an Office Manager, and Martyn.
We won our first "BEST THREE RATED" Painting and Decorating companies in Lincoln award, and the reviews kept flying in...
October 2023
We launched our business brochure, sending out 1,000 to local businesses, schools and venues, started to grow our team further, took on bigger projects and expanded the functions of our back office team. We were awarded the THREE BEST RATED award for the SECOND YEAR RUNNING...
October 2024
We put basic systems in place and became a team of 8. Our brand became better known and we smartened up our marketing to match the skills and expertise we had at the end of our brushes.
We became HEADLINE SPONSORS for the NEW THEATRE ROYAL and BREAKFAST SPONSORS for LCR FM.
And we won the BEST THREE RATED award for the THIRD YEAR RUNNING...
October 2025
Our team grew to a team of 15, we visited the Painting and Decorating Trade Exhibition in Coventry, we did A LOT of extra curricular training, we upgraded our systemised our processes, invested heavily in software and had LOTS of meetings about how we could improve our client's journey with us, and this is who we are today.
